I like to say I am here on purpose!
That I am trying to show up in my life as an expression of my true, authentic self.
That my heart is increasingly the single source of both my effort and my expression.
But my reality is that it’s all work in progress, and I just want to keep showing up to do that work.
This is the work I want to share with you here, in the hope that it’s of some help to you, your life, sense of self and happiness.
Much Love,
Scotty M
I am firstly and mostly a devoted and ever evolving Father.
My love for my daughter, has been the fuel that has driven me through the challenges and triumphs of personal transformation. She has always been my source, my light and always my reason for wanting to be a better human. These days, I am also and increasingly fuelled by a love of my authentic self.
I parent, lead, live, love and share from Melbourne, Australia, and I’m available for conversations about building trust, authenticity, resilience and human connection. (oh and stuff about my day job too I guess)
My day job is about data-driven Strategy at The Art of More, we help people unlock opportunities for impact. We are currently focussed on using our capabilities to support Social Services by helping them focus on the communities in most need of support. We call this the Vulnerable Australia platform and helping them cope with the increasing demands of this pandemic, but monitoring their Resilience as teams and organisations.
I also am heavily involved in Mental Health Intervention work and Coaching service for those people who are supporting the people suffering through this pandemic.
I am most definitely not bored, but I am happy with the complexities and challenges of my heart felt intentions for others.
That said, my current focus is showing up for myself more and this blog is part of me giving to myself. What you will read here is the joy of authentic expression and I find it so very cathartic. So showing up here, is showing up for myself.
So thank you for joining me in this place of self love and joy.
This is a conversation that I want to have with you, so in order to do that I invite you to our Community below #softenthefckup. Oh and feel free to like and follow me elsewhere, I’ve always got plenty to say and hopefully you find some of it valuable (social links below).
